Susan Dench works with organizations to strengthen the bench of women leaders. Dr. Marie Hansen is the Dean of the College of Business at Husson University where she has been employed since 2003 in various leadership and teaching roles. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Maine, a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from The Chicago School for Professional Psychology. Additionally, she completed the Institute for Management and Leadership in Education at Harvard University and achieved Mastery level of Prior Learning Assessment through DePaul University. Dr. Hansen has presented locally and nationally on a variety of topics in business, career planning, human resource management, law, social capital, work-life balance and prior learning assessment.
Outside of Husson, Dr. Hansen holds gubernatorial appointments to the Board of Trustees at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy and as a Dedimus Justice. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Trustees for The Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL; the Board of Directors for the Penobscot County Bar Association; and the Board of Directors for the Bangor Symphony Orchestra; as well as various Criminal Justice and Business program Advisory Boards throughout the state of Maine; and she is an active member in Bangor Rotary.
Steve is a strategic advisor and experienced board member. He recently served on the Executive Management Team of one of the largest providers of digital and print marketing services for small businesses. Steve is a former all-star technology analyst and successful venture capital investor. Here in Maine, Steve has served on the boards of both the Maine Technology Institute and the Maine Venture Fund, and is currently on the board of SeaBags.
